I have '84 3door that was leaking water to the interior thru the heater ducting until i cleaned out the tree leaves from the air intake to the heating system. the air intake is under the hood on the right hand side just in front of the windshield ( set the heater controls to keep the flap open). If this solves your problem, i would appreciate email.
