Most of the problems stem from the premature release of the new-generation 900 in 1994. Most of the problems were fixed by the '95 model year. If you stay away from the V-6 (no longer available in '98), you should have minimal problems. I bought an early '94 900 SE V-6. I had a few problems, but most were fixed by the recalls. The resale value of that car is the pits! I just traded it for a '98 900S Turbo. BTW, I still have my '82 900 Turbo, too. --------------------- John R.
