It is totally up to you if the car is worth repairing. I have seen customers with very well maintained cars,or who have just spent a lot of money on repairs and then get hit, present documentation as to the repairs and upkeep and get substantially more from the insurance companies, the most substantial difference was about $1500. Although you don't want to cheap out on the repairs, a salvage yard "front clip" is probably the way to go, although I am not a body man and have no idea what the going rate is for one. My 86 900 got about $2000 in just parts at my cost poured into it at 225000 miles. I felt it was worth it. It now has 240000+ and is still preforming perfectly.
