Johan, Can't help you too much with your first two items except to say that I've had trouble with my 5-speed transmission ('87 900S, Canada) - I've got 190,000 kms and I'm now losing my 3rd gear (pops out on deceleration, and "crunches" into 3rd gear any higher than 2500 rpm). I've been told that both clutch and transmission are pretty reliable, but I'm also having a problem with the car "clunking" into gear - something to do with the clutch. I love this car dearly, but it does have some problems. The windows are a notorious 900 problem. Apparently the motors aren't strong enough for the windows! I've had to replace both motors - likely that is what you will have to do as well. Good luck to you! Jeff.
