For anyone considering buying or leasing a SAAB automobile, I have one piece of advice: don't do it. I've got a 1994 900 SE Turbo that I leased in 1994. It only has 31,000 miles and I've got a service record as long as Manute Bol's leg. Initial quality defects, fog lights, bent rims, $400 flats, a leaking radiator, three recalls and a broken clutch are just SOME of the problems's I've had. Couple that with a crooked dealer who wants to charge me 5 hours in labor for something other SAAB dealers only charge 2 hours for, then you undertand why I feel like I do. A service tech at my dealer even stole my change out of my ashtray! Bad luck? Perhaps. All I know is I'll never ever by another SAAB again.
