We used to have a 1969 Saab 99 wagon. It came with a large, removable Blaupunkt radio -- an amazing beast, it even gets shortwave. The model name is "Derby Deluxe." Though the car is long gone, I have the radio, and it still works. I'm perfectly willing to hang on to it (unlike modern removable car stereos, this one works outside of the car) but it really belongs in a Saab 99 somewhere. Please note that this is NOT a normal-size car radio. It's much bigger. So -- if you have a Saab 99, and have been wondering what the heck that big mounting bracket beneath the dashboard is for, I have your answer. Make me an offer. Emailing me is better than posting to the newgroup, as our feed loses posts. Joe Saul jmsaulnopsamh.edu
