If the squeaking only appears when turning to the one side, it is probably not caused by the so called dust excluding boot rubbing against the lower part of the steering column. Grease would solve that problem. (It solved mine). Turning the steering at full lock will cause a squeaking noise. Keeping it at lock will kill the servo. How about yuor tyres? Do they rub against anything in the wheel housing? Though that might not sound squeaking. It could be the stearing gear needing oil and adjustment (don't hope so). The steering knuckles: Follow the steering column. One is wery near the steering gear the other is behind/ beneath the fascia panel. ou may not want to remove and especially reinstall the fascia panel considering the amount of wires and the connector of airhoses in the heater control panel.
