Subject: Exhaust light



I'm new to the SAAB game and have a '84 900 turbo.  The exhaust light is
lighted on the dash.  I've been told three stories by three different
SAAB mechanics and don't know who to believe.

1) It's going to cost $250 to have the 'computer' checked, etc.
2) It can be remedied by depressing a button on the back of the dash.
3) It can be remedied by depressing a button somewhere inside the
exhaust system.

What's going on here?  Advice would be most gratefully received.
