Subject: Re: What do I use to remove the rear speaker surrounds on a '95 900.

OK. Was able to remove the rear speaker surrounds. As pointed out, the Torx screwdriver that I needed was indeed next to the spare tire. All I had to do was turn around the blade. Thanks newsgroups. Having removed the surrounds I then went to install the Radio Shack 3 way 'Tornado' speakers. When I bought them, I knew that they were too cheap. The problem now however is that the stamped metal casing that the cones sit in (I am not sure what this is called) is too large to sit flush against the rim of the speaker hole. Consequently, I can't place the rim of the surrounds above the speakers and get the grills to lie flat. Has anyone else had this problem? The speakers in any event sound terrible and I think I shall have to replace them if I can return them as they are. What speakers have people had luck in fitting, both in shape and sound quality?
