I tried it when I got home last night just to make sure I remembered it right (this on my '94 900S; other models may differ): 1. Turn off the ignition, leaving the headlight switch on. 2. Open the drivers-side door. 3. While the driver-side door is still open, pull back once on the headlight high-beam lever (and release!). 4. Close the drivers-side door (you should get out first if that's what you intend to do :-) ). When you close the drivers-side door, the headlights will come back on and stay on for a while. I don't know exactly how long, but maybe the owners manual says. It appears that when the lights are in this delay mode, there's no way to turn them off; maybe re-starting and stopping the engine might do it. -- The opinions expressed in this message are my own and are not the opinions of anyone who does not hold those opinions.
