Castrol GTX 10W30 is an excellent oil. I used it in my 83 900 T, crankcase and transmission. I had 197,234 miles on the engine before I made the mistake of trying Slick 50. That stuff was so slick it cost me over $2200 for a replacement engine, the installation and a rental car. I staid with the Castrol, and I had 251,000 miles on the 83, when it got totalled by the rear impact of a truck. My five spd was the original and never gave me any problems. I replaced the 83 with an 87 900S. That car was totalled this past December, and now I drive an 87 9000S, 5 spd. Castrol in the engine and tranny. Ken W.
