Subject: RE: stalling & rough idle

Hi, Iīm owning a 93 900 turbo convertible - and the problem is well known! - but only the turbos suffer. Itīs cause the AIC Automatic Idling Control. The idling valve is getting dirty and the control unit indicates a wrong value. Anyway: There are 2 things to do: 1) You can change the whole AIC or (some 100 $) 2) Tell your SAAB dealer: Thereīs a trick with a diode inserted into the AIC electrical control unit! (some 10$) 2 is the better way and it works great!!!! - DO SO if they donīt know they can contact the Austrian SAAB dealer TARBUK WIEN Mr. PFEIFER knows how to do this 0043 - 1 - 601 80 (ask for Mr. Pfeiffer)
