Subject: Re: Saab a good desert car?

I've had my 900S and Turbos ('79, '82, '83, and '91) in the high deserts of Albuquerque and the western Mojave. They all ran fine in the heat! On the old 900 series, I recommend setting up a jumper and switch across the A/C relay to turn on one of the radiator fans at will -- it helps a lot on long, hot mountain climbs. I don't think it's necessary on the new versions. --------------------- John R.
