If so, how big a job is > this? > > Thanks in advance for any help > Christian > > -- > http://members.aol.com/PopFiction > http://members.aol.com/MayneC This sounds like a worn clutch master cylinder.Its quite an easy job,and you can buy a repair kit from most factors (its the same as a morris marina if i remember correctly!).Its also easy to change the clutch if you've a reasonable amount of skill,if not find an independent specialist.Remember,on this car you don't have to remove the gearbox.
