My local dealer has a dozen or so with more arriving soon. The pricing has changed very little. Last model year's 900 SE 5door base MSRP was $31,995 and included heated front seats. The new 9-3 has a base MSRP of $31,500. Even though the 9-3 brochure shows that heated front AND rear seats are standard on 5-door SE's, the invoices actually show a charge of $500 for the F+R heated seats. With this slight exception, it appears to me that all the MSRP pricing (including all the options and invoice pricing) have remained unchanged. See http://www.edmunds.com for last year's 900 pricing numbers. One new option is the substitution of an in-dash CD for the in-dash cassette for a MSRP of $100. Invoice cost is likely $86. The "S" designation (as in 900 S) is now just called the 9-3 ("nine three"). The "SE" is now only available in the 5-door models. To get the walnut trim, leather, electric sunroof, etc. on a 3-door, you'll just have to add them on as options or purchase through the accessory catalog. All 9-3 models get the 185hp 2.0 Turbo. No dealer incentives are currently being offered on the 9-3's...depending on sales volumes look for possible promos in 6-8 months.??? The 2.2% dealer holdback is seemingly unchanged. Do a deal for $1500-$2000 over Net Net (Invoice minus Holdback) and you're doing pretty decent. Don't blame me if I'm wrong about anything.... :) Tim remove x's from reply to address to reply (SPAM sucks) Tom Morgan wrote: > I spoke with a local dealer last Friday (4-10) who said they had no cars > yet and no pricing info.
