Subject: '84 90GLi Heating problem?

Hi, Just got an '84 900Gli in exchange for my '78 99L, but there seems to be one problem. When running the car at speeds above 110KMh, the eng. temp rises to just below the red area. When running at lower speeds the temperatur stays well below. Actually horizontal..... It haven't reached the red area yet, but I am concerned anyway. There seem to be a problem just like my old 99, when running at low speed to (rush-hour). Anyway, is the solution to change the temp. sensor or?? (the fan works ok.) -- Mvh.
