My 1989 900S has started to stall when stopped at a light, or when slowing down at stop signs, etc. My mechanic says that the eloctronic engine control which needs to be replaced is $700, OUCH. Has anyone experienced similar problems with an alternative (hopefully, less expensive) solution? Tony
