Subject: Clarion Tapeplayer - Problems - ('85 900i)
On a recently purchased 1985 900i, still fitted with the OE tape player
(Clarion), which sounds great, it requires major effort to eject a tape.
(i) How are you suppose to eject tapes? (you never know, I may be doing it
completely wrong!!)
(ii) The FF and REW buttons seem very sloppy, with little or no resistance,
except at the end of their travel. When EXTRA effort results in tape half
heartedly popping out, but you've got to be quick or it goes back in!!
(iii) How do you change the radio presets? (I have a real dislike of Local
Radio)
Vehicle (car, bikes, Bangers) mechanics not a problem, but a tape player
has me defeated!
