A friend of mine (hi, Steph) had the radio stolen out of her '89 Saab 900. She has a replacement radio, (used, no manual) and we're having trouble hooking it up. The old amp is still there. How can we tell if the new radio needs/can use an amp? Does the radio need to match the amp in some way? The old radio had all its connections via a DIN-8 plug. Presuming the new radio can use the old amp, where can I find a pinout to solder up a DIN-8 connector for the new radio?
