But it still smokes. > Can anyone suggest a possible cause? > > Thanks > Robert Clark > England Check that the air filter container isn't full of oil.It's possible that when the engine was sick it pushed a lot of oil down the breather into the air filter,and is still there.I think it's unlikely,but i'd certainly look.Have you done a compression test?
