Subject: Re: Auto Shoulder Harnesses

the problem is not in the ECU but rather in the micro-switch that lives in the belt motor on each side. there are two fuses under the rear seat on the left side. the fuses sit on top of the control relays. the relay on the left controls the belt on the right and so forth. you may find that opening the right door after the car is switched off may start the right side belt motor into a 'will now kill myself' mode that is only stopped by the car battery going dead instead. this one is hard to find. and may come up only once a week. use the safety clips that are in your tool kit( make sure you have the left (LH) and right (RH) in the correct slot. and then pull the control fuses. check you handbook ! dannopsamorama.com Edwin Clawson wrote in message <6jkssm$oidnopsamsc02.worldnet.att.net>... >The automatic shoulder harnesses in my 87 900s aren't working at all.
