Car is a 86 900T 8v with > 105K. > > -- > Hugh Fiske > http://www.soft.net.uk/fiske/ffyskes.htm Yes it is,and you may find that the manifold has warped.Best to remove it altogether and check it with a long steel ruler or similar straight edge to see.If you're fairly handy with the spanners it's not to difficult,but you will need a "special" spanner to work on the turbo return pipe on the inside.You can make one by heating and bending a 13mm combination spanner at the "ring" end.Also,get the correct kit of parts from saab,this should include new studs,spacers(which an '86 may not have-check)and the gaskets.You may also need a new heat shield.
