Thanks for all of the answers/advice on the 900 automatic. I've decided = not to buy it based upon the advice. I'm now looking at an 87 9000s, = 111k miles, which also has an automatic but has the 16 valve engine. I = have three questions: 1. Is this a better transmission than the one in = the 900 and therefore longer lasting (especially with the non-turbo = engine)? 2. Since this is a 16 valve is the performance with the = automatic acceptable or is the added weight of the 9000 enough to offset = the additional power? 3.
