Reliability...sigh... I got a '95 900SE convertible and it's been one problem after another. When I reviewed my repair records, I found that I've had it into the shop once every three months since purchase. Problems include: Shifting linkage - leads to constant misshifts and ultimate gearbox replacement Convertible motors - underpowered leading to burn-out Water leaks - window seals are loose leading to water leaks during any significant rain General poor workmanship - screws vibrate loose after a while. Two power windows have had to be repaired so far. Overall, I feel that the workmanship issues are indicative of a serious problem with the vehicles. All they needed to do was use a bit of loc-tite on the screws to prevent loostening. Instead, I'm left with a $150 repair every time a screw comes loose (since the screws aren't in a user servicable location). Other stupid things? In order to replace a fog lamp bulb, you have to drop the entire front skirt off the car. A month after buying the car the power side mirror popped out of its mount. The list goes on.
