Subject: INFO: HID/Blue/White Headlights

Hello folks, I've seen a lot of posts being thrown around about the "HID/XENON Look" Blue ION, Blue/Gold blah blah blah bulbs etc...... ________________________________________________________________________ I recently purchased a couple sets of bulbs from www.eurolights.com for my 97 Acura CL...which I am actually very happy with. I was looking for an "HID/Xenon looking" bulb....now I KNOW THAT HID/XENON IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT KIND OF LIGHTING SYSTEM AND I ALSO KNOW THAT A BULB OR BULBS ARE NOT GOING TO PRODUCE ANYWHERE NEAR THE INTENSITY OF THESE HID/XENON SYSTEMS SO PLEASE DON'T TRY TO FLAME ME OR MAKE ME FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT...LIKE I'VE SEEN A LOT ON THE NEWSGROUPS I'M JUST TRYING TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE ON THIS TOPIC WHICH I THINK THERE IS A LOT OF INTEREST AND CONFUSION ABOUT....ISN'T THAT WHAT NEWSGROUPS ARE FOR? Anyway, I requested info from them(eurolights) to see if they had any bulbs that would work well with my 97 Acura CL equipped with aftermarket foglights that use 55watt H3 bulbs. I explained that I was interested in headlight bulbs that looked as close to HID as possible "Blue-ish bulbs like HID, maybe Blue ION?" were my exact words. Also what could they recommend for my foglights and high beams. Within about 24hrs I recieved my response...They explained that Blue ION bulbs were actually not what I was looking for(ION Blue are just funky looking bulbs for people looking for a funky look I guess LOL :)if I was looking for an HID look and that their Blue/White bulbs were more what I was looking for but that output was about as bright as my standard bulbs. They also suggested that I use ION Yellow for highbeam and ION Yellow for foglights as these actually IMPROVE visibilty. I went with their suggestions and ordered EuroLights Blue/White Plus for lowbeam and EuroLights Yellow SuperBright ION for high beams and foglights. I recieved my order within about 4 days (I'm in NY they are in FL). I immediately installed them in my car it was already evening time so I turned them on...all I could say was WOW!!! what a change....my lowbeams were now a Very White and just Slightly blue exactly what I was looking for!!!! (instead of that sloppy yellow/orange that they were originally) and my high beams and foglights were a Very Bright and Sharp Yellow..... I am very happy with my results and the choice I made...I've been running my set-up for about 8months now....I've seen the Blue ION and they look nothing like mine...believe it or not mine actually look like HID, I personally love 'em. If you look at their web page www.eurolights.com it explains their different types so that you can choose the type you want....just make sure that you choose exactly what you are looking for...if you want HID look Blue/White is the type and for a lot of brightness the Yellow ION are great. NOTE: I Am in NO way associated with eurolights(tm) I am just trying to share my PERSONAL experience...and if you read my whole message you are obviously interested in this topic so PLEASE as I stated earlier don't harrass me as I've seen too many times....Above Is my OPINION and harrasment and criticism will not change it. I hope I was able to at least help someone out by writing this :) Take Care Robert C. 97 Acura CL
