Subject: Re: Can't open sun roof

I had a similar problem in my 88 900 SPG and what happened was the sun roof motor was stuck. At least in my car, near the spare tire is a motor about the size of an oil can. The piece that spins sticks out and gets stuck. I put vice grips on there and turned it a couple of rotations to get the motor moving and then the motor worked. This still happens periodically, especially after not using it for a while. Hope this helps Doug ALexander Peer Wagner wrote in message ... >After two weaks full of pleasure with my new '90 Saab 9000 CD turbo 16 i'm >getting into trouble with the sun roof, 'cause it can't be opened >electrically any longer.
