Subject: Re: turbo vs. 900S convertible

I drive an '87 900S 16v 5spd, and I've been very satisfied with the pickup and response I get from the car. I've had it up to 125 on a closed track without any shudder or vibration. Just that beautiful transmission whine. A friend of mine has an '88 turbo and his car is faster than mine, but not by a huge margin. The 8v engine would be slow though, it's horsepower is too low to give satisfying response. Get the turbo if you can afford it, but the 16v naturally aspirated engine is also good. jonnopsam.com wrote in message <6m3rf2$7b0$1nopsam1.dejanews.com>... >Is a used 900 turbo with the risk?
