Needs a new heater control valve. hrm... can i install that, or is there some welding or something like that required? how much does that valve usually cost? and i'm okay with draining the coolant system -- i had it done for me automatically last winter, when a coolant hose burst -- there was a 1" long gash in it, and the coolant was just pouring out of it -- original hoses -- not bad. granted, i should have had them replaced before this past winter, but, oh well, ;) I also notieced a lot of the vacuum line hoses have been dying recently -- again, original hoses (12 year old). i was amazed when i replaced a few of them, that so many parts of the car started working again! -- vents opening/closing, idling properly, car starts better, etc... -j
