I just had a Clarion CD changer installed in my 94 900 SE, and the cable
was under the left hand (from the rear) fiber quarter panel.  The
installer pulled up enough of a gap where the panel met the metal floor
to work his hand in, found the cable, then cut a slit about 1" long in
the crease of the panel (where it goes from vertical to horizontal,
about 6" from the rear of the car), then fed the cable up through the
slit.
