Yep, you would think so. But my 85 got tapped in the rear, and the insurance company told me the salvage value was $158. That with a great engine, automatic transmission, brakes, etc. In my case, it was worth buying back and getting patched up (for a lot less than the total value). You might be able to part it out for more-advertising in the Saab Nines-- Good luck Dick in Falls Church, VA
