Subject: 87 9000 Trip Computer (EDU) Display dead



Does anyone have a suggestion as to simple problems
that could be causing the trip computer display on my
1987 9000T to stop working. (Other than take it to a
dealer ;-)

I have checked the fuse which is intact and good.

Is there a fusable link or something like that?

My guess is that the display panel finally died.
Any ideas as to what the least replaceable unit
is and the cost associated? (and yes I know -
it's a SAAB - the entire frontend and all of my
money ;-) ;-) )

But seriously now...
