The above is 100% correct...but if you do touch the bulb by accident (hard to hold onto those little suckers!), use denatured alcohol to clean it up. But, it's very important that the bulb stays clean and dry so make sure the rubber gasket around the exterior glass is not leaking. Water hitting a bulb that's burning that hot, will pop it almost immediately. Skools in!
