We've got a '93 9000 CS, and I've never been happy with the sound of the stock Clarion stereo - especially through the front speakers. There is effectively no low end at all. I replaced the stock speakers with some Boston Acoustics 4"", and this improved it a little (mainly cleaning up the high end), but still no bass to speak of. I also tried reversing the polarity on one speaker to see if they were wired out-of-phase, but this didn't make any difference. Any ideas? Is this just the way they are? thanks, bt
