I've been given loaners (either rental cars or Saabs) from three different dealers. You don't have to have bought your car there. I assume you will have luck depending on the dealer and depending if your car is in warranty; e.g. more chance with a 98 900 than a 86 900. You just need to ask for one when you book your car in. When I was complaining to Saab about having to drive 240 miles round trip to the next nearest dealer when the shut down the local franchise, they offered me a loaner whenever I got service. I said, "I already expected AT LEAST that, no matter where I am going"! Glenn
