First, here in the northeast, Saab shops abound, but my question is why don't dealers or other more reputable mechanics offer to replace parts in used Saabs with used parts? I'm sure there are a lot of parts which you just wouldn't want to do that with because old parts are problematic as a simple function of age and wear, but there must be many which could be obtained simply and cheaply and would work reasonably well. My car's 8 years old and has over 100k on it; I don't expect it to run perfectly - but I do need it to run. Your thoughts? Leigh
