Why buy a Celica, Cavalier, or LeBaron convertible when you can have a Saab? 1987 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. Absolutely beautiful. Red exterior with not a single scratch or hint of rust. Tan leather interior. Auto transmission. Loaded with power everything. Great condition. Always garaged and never driven in winter. Mileage is 110K and, as you probably know, if properly maintained, that does not mean much on a Saab. We bought the car in 1995, and it is in much better shape today than it was then. I have spent over 4500 dollars over the past three years getting it in top shape. We have each R/O, and all work has been done by an excellent Saab-only shop near Boston (Nordic Motors). Within the past three years, the car has received new calipers, rotors, shocks, Cooper Sport tires, tune up, complete exhaust (front pipe, cat converter, muffler), transmission gaskets, all new belts, water pump, turbo computer, etc. We would absolutely have kept this beautiful car if it were not for the fact that we are having a baby next month and we will need to get a "family car."
