Why put more money into it if you feel > uncomfortable? There are lots of reliable good used cars out there > for a lot less money. I hear you, and to a large extent you are correct. This is going to be an uphill battle. It does however clearly show the advantages to Saab Inc. in pushing their lease option to new car buyers. Clearly paying $18300 with nothing left after 3yrs and then being forced to buy another car is unfair buisness practise, and that is my beef with Saab Inc. The 900 SE V6 is a known problem and Saab could have impressed its customers by doing something positive. An extended warranty, on clearly a problem car, was not an unreasonable request. Given Saab's customer attitude (and poor product) I'll will not buy another Saab, and I can only strongly advise others the same. Saab has in the past produced a good car, it is unfortunate things have turned out this way. I know a lot of people here and overseas (family, friends, collegues at many universities) and drive at Porsche Club track events (PCNA member) and I also know my cars. Saab just screwed the wrong guy. Laurence
