Mark, I have a '96 900SE, and in 2 1/2 years it has had only a few small problems- the electric seat control relay failed, there was a recall due a possible throttle lever corrosion problem, and the rear hatch striker plate had to be loctited. Don't hit any potholes at high speed. The tires and wheels are very expensive to replace (I bought the 15 inch snowtires on steel wheels after that for winter driving in the New York City area)! Apply leather conditioner regularly to the seats - they seem to need it. The car has never let me down and is great fun to drive. I would buy it again.
