"Trim" is swedish and means tune up. So a "trimchip" is a PROM which gives higher turbo pressure = more horse power. In the new SAAB:s they are of the type flash-PROM:s and can not easily be replaced since they are soldered to the electronic circiut board in the computer box. New info in the PROM has to be downloaded via a serial interface with a specific program. I can however recommend a Swedish company called "Nordic". Check their homepage: http://www.nordicuhr.se I have myself a -97, 9000 170HP which Nordic has equipped with a new program that gives me some more power (appr. 240HP) an a progressive suspensions which also makes the car 40 mm lower. On top of that the car is equipped with 17" wheels. It is a pleasure to drive! Justin VanAbrahams skrev i meddelandet <35B5340F.35C9nopsamnet>... >chcnopsamonnect.com wrote: >> >> OK...
