Check your heater vent controls. If the vent controls are not operating correctly you won't get the heat you want or need. It could be a mechanical problem or one of the vaccum lines could be bad. Secondly, check inside on the floor. If you have any moisture leaking, it could be a bad heater control valve. I had that problem on my 83 900T several years ago.
