Subject: water leak

Ah yes, its me again. I tried to get some cool air in this afternoon. The temperature selector seemed a little stiff but turned almost into the blue, gave cool enough air but one little problem. There is now a gentle drip of water from somewhere. I have heard that the heater valve often needs replacing (1986 car 187 000 miles) and indeed have seen a few advertised. Is this symptomatic of a faulty valve or is something lse likely to be amiss. Car has new radiator new hoses and no visible source of leak in engine bay. oil is good colour, no scum so water not getting into that. Many thanks Tony -- I hate Po Po hates me Po tied Dipsy to a tree Tinky Winky shot him in the head Sorry La La Dipsy's dead Antony nospamat abbey.force9.co.uk
