It has spent most of the > last 10 years in a garage and used mostly as a "fun car" , Less than >30K original miles. If it's a little used car check the discs (rotors) and pads.Cars that are little used soon get corroded discs , and this leads to pad damage - altho' of course you can't see this unless you dismantle it all. This isn't very practical on a test drive obviously , but you can see if the discs look in good condition BEFORE you drive the car. Replacement costs aren't to high unless there's a sticky caliper involved , bear this in mind when you haggle if you can. I'm not sure when saab modified the steering rack to the newer longer lasting variety; ask the owner not to start the vehicle until you arrive. This will allow you to do several things:First you can check the condition of the discs , secondly how the car starts from cold , and thirdly you can check the power steering from cold.Start the engine and turn the wheel from lock to lock.If it gets sticky or there's a loss of assistance the racks had it ! Hope this is of some help.Good luck. Tim.
