Subject: Saab 99 with "B" series engine



Hi!

I'm considering buying an '81 99 GL to replace my '84 900GLi. Its in totally
pristine condition with only 45K miles on the clock. Its the last of the B
motor 99's. My question is are these engines any less reliable? I know the
shaft driven water pump can be a pain, but does it suffer from head problems
like the H motors?
