Subject: 900 SE lights

I have a 1997 Saab 900 SE, recently took it in for an oil change and I think they messed with something. Please help me figure out what they did. Here is the before and after. Before - light switch always left in the in the far left, headlights always on low beam After - the dealer moved the switch to the far right, I moved it back to the far left and noticed the light power was far less than it was before. I don't understand why the dealer messed with this and no, I'm not confused by the hi beam and low beam, the left position is now far less than the low beam in the right position. I called the dealer and they suggested the left is only daytime running lights (which is correct, BUT according to the manual, these are supposed to be identical to low beam). For what it's worth, I have no confidence in this dealer's service depatment. I had a problem and gave up on them fixing after three attempts. I had to fix it myself. I really like the car, but I have reservations about ever buying another one given this dealer's inability to properly service my car. In my city, I'm stuck with only one dealer.
