Kirby: I read all four of your topics so far, here are the ones I can comment on: Warmth: I noticed that my 1996 900 S 2.3L normally aspirated engine generates more heat than other cars I've driven recently (including my 1993 Saturn SL2) but in nearly a year of ownership it hasn't been anything to worry about. Ken Washington's points about dark colors and heat absorbtion are very valid and well taken also. Miles: I don't think you have anything to worry about here, the 9-5's are in such demand that it may have been traded between a few dealers (with the requisite driving between) before it got to you. Look at it this way, the dealers know how to baby a car, so they've taken care of some of the break in for you and you can enjoy your car to its full potential sooner. I don't think ANY dealer would take a chance on rolling back the odo on a NEW car. Finish: I would raise a stink about this, if you haven't already. Simply go to the lot, find a car with the same color paint, and compare. Make the dealer make it right. Good luck and enjoy your new car! -Chris This message was sent by either: Chris Thurrott _or_ Kris D'Anci scully at ma dot ultranet dot com remove "nospam" from our e-mail address to send a reply ---------- In article <6Hkx1.1592$IG5.20489536nopsam-read1.qis.net>, "Kirby Krieger" <FOBARkfknopsamuserve.com> wrote: >Just yesterday took delivery of a new 9-5.
