Thanks to all who responded with prices......even the guy in Massachusets. Yes $29,999 looked great at first but up here in Canada our dollar has hit an all time low and that 29,999 translates into well over $42,000 Canadian. For anyone else pricing these cars I got a 1999, 9-3, 5door, automatic with cd player...no options. Dealer had put 3,000 kms on it, well he had put 2,000 on it and I had it for three days and put 1,000 on it myself. After the usual back and forth I ended up getting it for $34,400. Have checked a number of Saab dealer sites and called a couple for pricing and that seemed to be a pretty good price. IF ANYONE finds one a lot cheaper DON"T EVEN THINK about letting me know!!!! My vehicles have followed no real pattern except that they have usually been rated high in consumer satisfaction....Last three cars were a Nissan 200SX, Honda Accord and most recently a 95 Nissan Pathfinder which I traded in for this Saab. All had good track records, the Saab is my first venture where the consumers as well as some car magazines have rated as below average. Here's hoping I can prove them wrong!!! Peter
