I had little idea of why this is so difficult other than my original thought that 13mm was an awfully small bolt to remove regularly. When I went to the SAAB parts department here in Bethesda the SAAB parts guy looked at me and said " You are using a 12pt socket on a 1/2" or smaller socket wrench. We used to round those bolts several times a day. Go to Sears or Snap-on, get a 6pt closed end box wrench and you will never, every have to see me again. for a replacement drain plug." I have a feeling your luck in removing these drain plugs regularly has a lot to do with the sockets used. I have not seen an orange Permatex gasket, but blue ones at 14mm for Saturns. If you could leave a note for a local source I would appreciatre it. Again, I thank you for past kindndess in advice and wisdom. Hope this tip helps. 6 pt. on sockets or wrenches.
