Subject: '94 9000 "check engine" light

I bought a 9000 CSE Turbo a couple of weeks ago. Today, the "Check Engine" light came on and stayed on. According to the owners manual this is a result of fuel injection, or emission system control system. It reads; "An emergency program in the control unit will take over, enabling the car to continue whith somewhat diminished performance" The car seems to be functioning normally, and the dealer that sold the car feels it is likely a sensor problem. Does this ring a bell with anybody? Oddly enough, I also have a Honda with a longstanding similar problem, the Fuel Injection light comes on often. A couple of mechanics told me that also was likely a computer sensor problem. Recently another mechanic pointed out a light under the seat that indicates a malfunction. Could there be any indicator on the SAAB like this?
