Subject: '98 SID II - mileage doesn't match odometer

I clear both the mileage on the "distance" function of the SID and the trip odometer at the same time (e.g., when I fill up with gas.) I've noticed, however, that they don't read the same after I've started driving. The difference seems to increase with the miles recorded (i.e., the error accumlates.) This seems odd to me. Has anyone else noticed this? Do the two displays sense distance travelled differently? -Duncan Elkins
