Well, a standaard 900 problem: There's a rubber ring (gaskit) on behind a 10 cm circular cover in the front of the gearbox. If there has been some work on the clutch or so, the cover has to be removed. Remounting the cover requires very good workmanship to get the rubber ring free of leaking oil. Best thing is to replace the gaskit (about $3-4 !). During normal operation you can detect a leaking rubber ring by the "oil-wetness" of the front side of the gearbox. If you have a 900 you should check this at least every month. It's even more important as the engine oillevel ! Groetjes Martin.
